Times are good...
I've been averaging about 40 miles a day on the bike, things are well, and with the new month, now I must become strict 8/1/1, no more spices, no more herbs, no more no more cooked low-fat foods, my regimine kicks in and the training now becomes much more serious. When I get home I'm going to go on my first long run so far. Yesterday I rode to Ocean City and had to cross the longport bridge, in which I climbed both bridges, so fucking insanely hard. I have never pushed my body so hard up a damn hill. Climbing ain't easy with one gear either, I should be getting the time trial bike now, momentarily. Eating some watermelon right now, I don't feel like showing you though. Yeah, just an update, I'm also lookin' nice. Lookin' very nice. Cheers.

Still fucking injured
God dammit, everytime I try to reuse my achillies it ends up in an agonizing post-work out.
Fuck.

Work, No Training
Worked today, did a lot of heavy lifting and work that had to be kept a close eye on, so that was pretty tiring, came home and now I'm sitting here, looking at reddit and reading news, jamming some tunes, etc. Today's menu was 6 lbs of grapes and 2 honeydew melons. I didn't get a chance to eat very much, but really, I guess i didn't need too. Heel still hurts, although it seemed the more I was on it, the more it was healing, so hopefully I'll be good to go by Monday.

Eating and Sleeping.

There are many reasons a person eats. Health, taste, boredom, feelings, social situations, etc. I like to primarily eat for health, and I do this by mostly eating raw fruit and greens. There is no food on this earth quite like fruit for the human body, as it mimics our nutritional needs like no other. I believe the human body is designed to thrive on fruit, as I have for the past many months. I like to say that it is a self-love thing, I know that fruit and vegetables are the best for my body, and I know I love myself enough to only give my body health building foods. Why should I be concerned with giving my body something that will fatigue me and make my training less enjoyable and awesome? It's just not worth it, being sick sucks, I'd rather be healthy any day. I'll be doing lots of eating during this whole thing, Perhaps 8-15 pounds of fruit a day. As eating is important to Health, so is rest and sleep. With a lot of physical exertion comes the need for sleep, I'll try to get 10-12 hours to ensure that I am properly healed. My off days will be a day that I do not work, that way I get to rest fully, work is going to get in the way, especially since there are times when I work 'till 3 AM and go back into work at 10 am. Along with rest, comes a positive mental attitude. I know I can do this and I'm really excited about it, I've been gradually yearning for this, this final step or whatever. I'm definitely ready to make it, and ready to push my body like it's never been pushed before.
Achillies heel still hurts, road the bike for a while though today.
Anyway, up there is a nice meal I had today, 'bout 4 lbs of rainer cherries.

Introduction
I am beginning my journey on becoming a triathlete. I will be training by running and cycling, however, I will not be swimming. I can't find time to do that, with work, I mean, I probably could. But I'm not going too, which I guess would qualify me as a biathlete. Either way, my end goal is a full iron-man, but first a half-iron man. I'll be posting my meals, taking daily pictures, and sticking to my regimine from now own.
My first week : http://beginnertriathlete.com/Scott%20Herrick/halfim/Week20.pdf
Going food shopping today to get some food.
Training begins monday, hopefully when my achillies-tendon feels better, I did 80 miles a few days ago in four hours on a fixed gear, I need a new bike and I need it fast, but in the meantime, my fixed gear will do, Perhaps I could single speed it.
